Ian Browne

Ian is a barrister and consultant at Farore Law. He has recently rejoined the firm, having previously worked at Farore Law before going on to train as a barrister at a leading set of employment law chambers. Ian practices alongside his role as a lecturer at University College, London, where he teaches employment law, public law and social welfare law.

Ian is experienced in all areas of employment law, with a particular expertise in representing claimants in discrimination and whistleblowing claims. He has helped clients achieve favourable settlements, successes in the Employment Tribunal and has two positive decisions in the Employment Appeal Tribunal (on costs and working time regulations).

In addition to private practice and teaching law, Ian has worked at a number of charities and NGOs, and has experience of policy development and of managing high profile strategic litigation on human rights, discrimination and environmental issues.
