- Defended a multinational media conglomerate in a high value sex discrimination claim brought by its former (male) CEO. The Claimant ultimately agreed to settle the claim at a significant discount to what he was initially claiming in his schedule of loss. Prior to this, Farore Law successfully obtained anonymity orders for various witnesses in a preliminary hearing and resisted a specific disclosure application sought by the Claimant. We also successfully challenged the application of US legal privilege law to the disclosed documents.
- Acted for a CNBC news anchor in a widely reported sexual harassment and discrimination case against Comcast and its subsidiaries. This matter involved claims under English law, ADGM law and California law. Farore Law worked closely with Suann MacIsaac of KWIKH (an experienced entertainment law attorney based in Los Angeles) in this matter. Farore Law secured a multi-million-pound settlement for our client.
- We achieved a significant settlement (including release of covenants) for a very well-regarded and senior global Entertainment Agent, following allegations of sex discrimination.
