- Acted for a CEO of a finance house facing an internal investigation on breach of confidentiality policies, including advising him on his FCA regulatory status under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime. Farore Law successfully challenged the employer’s internal investigation processes and managed to secure a settlement for an undisclosed amount, despite a finding of gross misconduct against our client.
- Acted for the Claimant in Banerjee v Royal Bank of Canada ET Case No: 2200415/2017, in which Suzanne McKie KC persuaded the Employment Tribunal to apply an ACAS uplift of 5% because of the Respondent’s failure to comply with the ACAS Code of Practice. As a result of this successful remedies hearing, the Claimant was awarded £1,112,956.17 by the Employment Tribunal.
- Brought two discrimination and equal pay claims for executives against a global investment banks, with significant settlements achieved.
- Advising a trader on very complex cross-border employment and remuneration contracts governing place of work, financial regulation and remuneration, ensuring important amendments were made to the suite of agreements.
- Represented a senior IT manager of a global investment bank in a race discrimination claim involving microaggressions. Farore Law obtained a settlement days before the bank was meant to submit its ET3 in the Employment Tribunal.
